MEDARYVILLE NURSERY SCHOOL BYLAWS
Medaryville Nursery School Board Membership
The MNS board is a not for profit organization that is run by an elected board of volunteer parents, guardians of current students, and MNS teachers who have an ex-officio membership. MNS teachers do not have voting rights.
The Board meets during the second week of each month in the classroom; meetings are open for attendance by MNS community members with the exception of those called for Private Session.
Parents or guardians that are interested in being on the board must identify interest on the student registration form. Previous board members will then appoint an undisclosed amount of members at their first business meeting.
Once new members are selected an election will be held to fill any officer positions. All board members will be able to vote on the executive positions. Voting rights are given to each individual on the board, public comment is welcome; however, only board members have the right to vote on actions.
Medaryville Nursery School Board Organizational Structure
MNS board will meet a minimum of once every month. The selected board shall be the governing body of the school. Board members shall serve a term of one year, commencing from the time of selection, until a new board is selected the following year. Board members have the option of remaining on the board for additional terms, if they so choose.
A new president will be elected in April of each year. Once elected they will immediately begin handling administrative duties regarding the upcoming year. The outgoing president will be responsible for executing graduation and an end of the year program.
