Our History
Medaryville Nursery School (MNS) was founded in 1981 by a few women wanting to make a difference in the lives of children. The nonprofit nursery school was formed and began holding classes at the Medaryville Christian Church Annex building. The nursery school has served hundreds of children in Medaryville, Francesville, and the surrounding communities. In 2002, MNS celebrated its 25th Anniversary.
In 2018, after much deliberation, the decision was made to move the preschool to a former Kindergarten room inside the West Central Elementary School building. With this move came more space for growing and learning, enhanced security, and a central location in western Pulaski County. |

Since MNS has been located in West Central, new and exciting adventures have been taking place. Medaryville Nursery School now has a teacher's assistant, which has been very beneficial for our head teacher, students, and parents. We have also adopted new curriculums, better preparing our students for entering Kindergarten.
Medaryville Nursery School's new location and working along side the West Central School Corporation staff, has allowed our program to grow and become more well known in the community. We are able to reach more families and fulfill their needs for early childhood education.
Our preschool is growing and thriving, and we have our wonderful communities to thank for making us a continued success. We look forward to many more years of providing pre-kindergarten education to local children. |
